Which one do I actually need?
- Heartsaver — little or no medical training, and a job, OSHA or regulatory requirement: education, child care, coaching, offices and warehouses.
- BLS — healthcare providers, students in clinical programmes, first responders, and anyone expected to run a code: nurses, EMTs, CNAs, dental and med students.
- ACLS — providers who treat adult cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary emergencies: ED and ICU nurses, paramedics, PAs, NPs and physicians. BLS is part of ACLS.
- NRP® — anyone involved in neonatal resuscitation in the delivery setting, including physicians, RTs, advanced practice nurses and RNs (L&D, NICU, mother-baby, ED).
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring — experienced perinatal clinicians who interpret fetal heart tracings and want deeper NICHD terminology, hands-on skill stations and certification preparation.
