Aishah Mandeel, DNP, MSN, RN, CPNP, RNC-OB, C-EFM

Registered nurse since 2014. Board certified nurse practitioner since 2019. Clinical nursing instructor since 2018 — and a doctoral education as the culmination of four degrees.

Teaching the way I'd want to be taught

I enjoy educating others in an interactive and engaging way that keeps your attention while also being concise and to the point. That is not a slogan — it is the reason the classes are small, the equipment is in your hands, and nothing gets explained twice because the room was too big to notice the first time.

My background is in maternal child health, with experience in labor and delivery, pediatric primary care and pediatric urgent care. That mix means I teach the resuscitation skills and the human context together: what the algorithm says, and what it feels like at 3 a.m. when the person in front of you is someone's mother, someone's newborn, someone's whole family.

“Passionate about providing holistic, family-centred, evidence-based care for my patients — and providing the most up to date, evidence-based education available to my students.”

Whether you are taking a certification because a job requires it, because a unit depends on you, or because you are about to welcome a baby into your own family, my job is the same: you should leave able to do it — not merely able to recognise it.

Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner — board certified since 2019, practising in pediatric primary and urgent care.

RNC-OB

Registered Nurse Certified in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing — the national certification for labor and delivery.

Instructor since 2018

Why the room stays small

Twelve seats, and no more.

Every class on this site is capped at 12 attendees. That number exists so there is always equipment under your hands, a voice you can hear, and time for your actual questions — the ones that come from the unit you work on, not from a slide.

Hands on the equipment

Manikins, AED trainers, BVMs and — for NRP and fetal monitoring — the real skill stations. Not a demonstration you watch from a chair.

Interactive, then concise

Engaging delivery, point-to-point content. You will not sit through an eight-hour video library to earn a card you could have practised your way to.

Taught by a clinician

Labor and delivery, pediatric primary care, pediatric urgent care — the scenarios are drawn from shifts, not from a script.

The business

Neonate Nerds Edu, LLC

Neonate Nerds Edu, LLC is the training company behind these classes. It is based in Fontana, California and teaches across the Inland Empire and greater Southern California — at our training room, and at the locations our clients choose for private bookings.

Classes are delivered in person. Provider cards and contact-hour certificates are issued by the certifying bodies — the American Heart Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and AWHONN — once skills have been successfully completed and signed off.
